A complex agritech solution to automatically fertilize, irrigate and spray insecticide on the soil. It also uses IoT, sensor based input and an innovative spraying method to maximise efficiency.
Team Comments
We chose to make this project because...We are passionate about robotics, especially agritech, and wanted to improve the unoptimized and guesswork-based solutions being used today.
What we found difficult and how we worked it outThe most difficult parts were coding it, perfecting the balance between torque and speed etc. We solved these by retracing our steps and fully understanding the problem. Then, we used our own knowledge and web resources to solve these problems.
Next time, we would...Yes. We would make it more powerful by adding more tracking instruments for other soil nutrients other than NPK. We would enhance the IoT interface to make it simpler to use for less trained farmers, and add more precision in some aspects like spraying insecticide.
