X-Trash

The Project

X-Trash is the perfect app to reduce the amount of trash that ends up in landfills! It is an AI-operated app that accepts an image of any item and reports what kind of trash it is (paper, glass, plastic, etc.) and whether its biodegradable or non-biodegradable. It also helps to guide the user by telling him/her in which color dustbin (red,blue,green) to throw the trash in. X-Trashes uses a machine-learning model to analyze the image being provided by the user and to return the correct output. It is destined to make a very significant impact on the amount of trash we see around us, and it will, no doubt, take giant leaps in the future.
