The Project
Long queues, crowds at local shops and units don’t allow people to maintain social distancing, making people more vulnerable to get infected with COVID 19. Such inefficient management and disobeying of social-distancing norms can lead to queues at stores to become COVID-19 Hotspots. Also, long waiting times in shops especially in extreme weathers make it difficult for people to shop with ease. So, there is a need to get the best Queue Management System which would be feasible for the current situation as well as in the post-COVID world. Therefore, we present our mobile application, QEasy, to drastically reduce lines at stores for efficient practicing of social distancing, using the concept of virtual queues.
