Team Comments

I was assigned to create a project using scratch as part of an online course. I enjoy playing air hockey whenever I go out with friends and as such decided to make a virtual variant of it on my own and publish it for other people to enjoy as well.

The main difficulty was to figure out how to make the movement of the puck about the field seem seamless. In the end, I resolved to keep it in constant motion by boosting its speed on collision with the edge/player/opponent to make it act like an actual game's puck.

I would add more logic to the opponent's code as with the enhanced speed of the puck, scoring and stopping goals is significantly eaiser and tougher respectively. Alternatively, I could improve the puck's logic as well to make the movement less erratic.
