Toxic Gas Detector and controller

The Project

The Gas Heater Safety System is a project aimed at enhancing safety in closed indoor spaces, particularly where gas heaters are commonly used. The project revolves around the development of a cost-effective and reliable system that can detect elevated levels of carbon monoxide (CO) gas in the room, and automatically shut off the gas heater whendangerous levels are reached. This initiative addresses the critical issue of preventing CO poisoning, a potentially life-threatening condition that can occur when fuel-burning appliances operate in insufficiently ventilated areas

I chose to make this project because...

I chose the Gas Heater Safety System project to address the critical issue of CO poisoning in indoor environments. Its focus on affordability and reliability aligns with my commitment to promoting safety and well-being.

What I found difficult and how I worked it out

Balancing cost-effectiveness with reliability posed a challenge. Ensuring the system's affordability while maintaining its effectiveness required careful consideration and testing of components within resource constraints.

Next time, I would...

Given more time, I would have expanded testing to ensure the system's robustness across various environmental conditions. Additionally, I would have explored additional features to enhance user-friendliness and versatility, such as remote monitoring capabilities.
