Alcohol Tracker

The Project

This project attempts to give an accurate estimate of the blood alcohol content of a user, along with allowing them to record whenever they consume alcohol. The interface uses AI to identify the drink out of five categories: beer, cocktails, rose wine, red wine, and white wine. The application has a calendar, in which users are able to see when they consumed alcohol, .and also has a place where it tells them if they are able to drive or not. Team Comments

I chose to make this project because people in my community, such as my parents, are big alcohol consumers. I am worried that they could develop alcohol abuse syndrome and made this app to help them keep track of how much they consume alcohol so that they able to see if it becomes an addiction.

The most difficult part of the project was creating the BAC calculator, as I did not know how BAC changed per drink. I took data from different online calculators and implemented it in by calculator by simplifying a lot. However, I am still working on making the calculator more accurate.

I would spend kore time researching how BAC is affected by different factors so that I can make my calculator much more accurate. I would also look for alternatives to making a calendar screen so my tracker can record better.
