I chose to make this project because...

After the Covid-19 pandemic, the isolation of humans has become even more widespread. In America, there has also been an emergence of depression in the year of 2023. This is why I propose the app AID. AID is an app that assesses its users’ situation when they submit journals into the app.

What I found difficult and how I worked it out

Designing my bot to be different from another such as ChatGPT was difficult. I had to create a specific algorithm that actually gives advice that is helpful. This is where I decided to research how professional therapists reply to usual questions coming from teenagers.

Next time, I would...

In the future, I plan on Enable more ways for the user to gain advice/opportunities from the AI. In addition to Improving accuracy in measuring not just objective data but emotional aspects as well. Lastly, I want to Enhance the bot’s capability to record more data and give updates.
