The Project

The objective of this project is to create a prototype drowsiness detection system. This system works by means of monitoring the driver's eyes and sounding an alarm if he or she will become drowsy. The system designed in this way is a non-intrusive real-time monitoring system.

We chose to make this project because...

The majority of car accidents worldwide are caused by drowsy drivers. Therefore, it is important to be able to detect when a driver is starting to feel drowsy in order to warn them before a serious accident occurs.

In future this project can be integrated with the AI in detecting the location and give the alert message to the user family.
