AUTOMATIC ALCOHOL DETECTOR

The Project

Automatic alcohol detector is used to detected the alcohol content in vehicle driver by his/her breath. The objective of this project is to create a prototype drowsiness detection system. This system works by means of monitoring the driver's eyes and sounding an alarm if he or she will become drowsy. The system designed in this way is a non-intrusive real-time monitoring system.

We chose to make this project because...

we choose this project by regular accidents depending on alcohol content about 336 people die in drunk and drive .so, to prevent the road accidents and to prevent the mankind from a threat/loss of life.so we came up with a innovative project.

What we found difficult and how we worked it out

As students we faced difficulty in getting alcohol for project. And we asked on of the sir to get the alcohol for sample test.

Next time, we would...

yes! we used to install our project in a vehicles steering and observe how the project is going to be successful . this also leads to the application of our project and can make people aware about safety rules and also prevent them from accidents caused by drunk and drive.
