The Fear of Losing

The Project

Mother and child are having a conversation. The child tells mother that she's going to attend the sports festival at their school. Mom asks which all games she would participate in. Daughter says that she won't participate in any games since if she loses she would feel ashamed. Mom tells her that winning and losing are all part of the game. There's much more that we learn by participating and enjoying games. Thus, daughter gets the confidence to go and participate.
