I chose to make this project because...I designed it to introduce learners to advanced Scratch concepts like scrolling backdrops, fostering creativity and understanding of game mechanics through hands-on experimentation. Plus, it offers an engaging way to teach programming while encouraging problem-solving and critical thinking.
What I found difficult and how I worked it outImplementing smooth scrolling and coordinating backdrop changes presented challenges, but I overcame them by experimenting with timing and synchronization techniques while ensuring efficient code organization.
Next time, I would...With more time, I'd enhance the game's visuals and add a variety of obstacles and power-ups to increase replay value and excitement. Additionally, I'd explore incorporating more complex gameplay mechanics and possibly integrate multiplayer functionality for an even more engaging experience.
