I chose to create this project to teach about waste management in a fun and interactive way. It helps users understand the importance of proper waste disposal by sorting items into the correct bins. Ultimately, it promotes environmental consciousness and encourages responsible behavior.

Figuring out how to make the items correctly go into the designated bins was challenging. I solved it by using conditional statements in Scratch to detect which bin the item was dropped into. Testing and tweaking the project helped ensure smooth functionality.

With more time, I'd add more variety of waste items and bins to make the sorting experience richer. Additionally, I'd consider implementing feedback mechanisms to provide users with information on their sorting accuracy.
