Coolest Projects India is a free in-person event for young tech creators based in India only. It will be held on 20 September 2025 in Hyderabad, Telangana. Participants can share their projects with their family, their friends, and the wider coding community and get fun swag and certificates to celebrate their achievements.

Applications are now closed. If you've already applied, we’ll get in touch with you by email within 4 weeks to confirm if we’ve selected your project and allocated you a place — we’d love to allocate everyone a place, but we’re restricted by venue size. We allocate places to creators based on where they’re located in India and the kind of organisation they’re connected to, with the aim of having a balance of participants from in state and out of state, and from a broad range of different organisations.
If your place is confirmed, we’ll then send all the details you need for event day, including further details on the venue.
Judges review projects based on the criteria of coolness, complexity, presentation and communication, and design and usability.
Adult mentors can apply for a partial travel assistance to support the costs of attending the event, such as travel costs. As an adult mentor, you can apply for assistance in the application form. We’ll then get in touch by email to confirm if you’ve been allocated funding, and request your bank details if you’ve been successful. Funding is paid by bank transfer in advance of the event. If you’re unable to attend the event, you have to refund the full amount.
